Equipment Properties | InletGiven | If checked (True) the outlet flow is set equal to the inlet flow plus the desuperheating flow. If not checked (False) the inlet flow is set equal to the outlet flow minus the desuperheating flow.
Discharge Temperature | Temperature | F | Outlet temperature.
Discharge Pressure | Pressure | psia | Outlet Pressure.
Degrees of Superheat | Temperature Change | Delta F | Degrees of superheat. |
If the outlet flow is given the Water Inlet flow is calculated from:
Fwater = Foutlet * ( houtlet - hinlet ) / ( hwater - hinlet )
If inlet flow is given the Water Inlet flow is calculated from:
Fwater = Finlet * ( houtlet - hinlet ) / ( hwater - houtlet )
where:
Fwater is the Water Inlet flow
Finlet is the Steam Inlet flow
Foutlet is the Steam Outlet flow
hwater is the Water Inlet enthalpy
hinlet is the Steam Inlet enthalpy
houtlet is the Steam Outlet enthalpy
No desuperheating water entering, default is used!
No desuperheating water needed!
