Power - Desuperheater Model

The Desuperheater model simulates a desuperheater by adding water to steam to cool the steam to a specified state.
The Desuperheater model can also be used as a steam mixer by adding steam to a water or steam stream to heat the stream to a specified state. Thus, the normal Steam Inlet and Outlet can be a water inlet and outlet and the normal Water Inlet can be a steam inlet.
The outlet stream state is set by giving the Discharge Temperature and the Discharge Pressure or the Degrees of Superheat. If the Degrees of Superheat is given, the Discharge Pressure is the saturation pressure. If neither the Discharge Pressure nor the Degrees of Superheat are given, the Discharge Pressure is the inlet pressure.
If the Discharge Temperature is not given, the Discharge Temperature is the Discharge Pressure's saturation temperature plus the Degrees of Superheat.

Method&Equations

If the outlet flow is given the Water Inlet flow is calculated from:
    Fwater = Foutlet * ( houtlet - hinlet ) / ( hwater - hinlet )
If inlet flow is given the Water Inlet flow is calculated from:
    Fwater = Finlet * ( houtlet - hinlet ) / ( hwater - houtlet )
where:
    Fwater is the Water Inlet flow
    Finlet is the Steam Inlet flow
    Foutlet is the Steam Outlet flow
    hwater is the Water Inlet enthalpy
    hinlet is the Steam Inlet enthalpy
    houtlet is the Steam Outlet enthalpy
